John and Natalie have invited us for a shortened service and fellowship picnic next Sunday at the slightly later time of 11am. For anyone who prefers to continue online Church on the Green would love to welcome visitors.
The ‘new normal’ continues with prayer and fellowship – contact your LIFE group leaders for when and how that is happening. Or use the contact form if you’re not part of one but would like to join in.
Activities for various age groups will be live on the CBC Junior Church channel on Sunday morning.
Evening prayer @ 8pm
Maybe it is easier to concentrate in the evening, after the children are in bed? If you’d like to join a small group, via Zoom, for a couple of Bible readings and to share and receive prayer reach out to Joey, Natalie or use the contact form.

Survey about in-person church activities
We’d really like to hear what you think about the church activities we should prioritise. Please fill out our survey here.
Many activities happen even while we cannot meet together in person. If you or someone you know is feeling left out, please get in touch via the contact form or call the office.
Each Wednesday and Sunday at 7pm, Lynn Green will be hosting a live prayer event. This is a great way to feel connected to the wider family at a time when many of us are isolated and under pressure. Please use this link to connect to the event.
When we behold the glory of Christ in the gospel, it reorders the loves of our hearts, so we delight in him supremely, and the other things that have ruled our lives lose their enslaving power over us.

“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honour at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory. “ Colossians 3:1-4
Thank you for our new life which is hidden in Christ. For we know that our ‘normal’ lives will one day come to an end, but our life with You will go on forever when you come back. Help us to continually seek the life above with Jesus Christ and not to be drawn away. Help us to live out what we have IN CHRIST; our everything! Help our lives to be shaped not by our circumstances or the opinions of others, but by Christ, our hope in life and death.
When you’re serving someone, remember that the Spirit could simply have given them what they need, e.g. extra strength. He didn’t. He chose to give it to you, to give it to them. That’s a gift to you, as well as to them.
