Summer Youth Camp
CBC is taking a group of young people on summer camp from 30th July – 4th August. Please pray that they would deepen relationships with each other and more significantly with God. We also require a tent for 4 girls to share in – if you have a tent that the youth team could borrow please speak to Dan on 07838 626419. Thanks!
Re-wiring the sanctuary
Ben R would like to let you know that he will be continuing the work of re-wiring the sanctuary on Friday 24th June and therefore it will be out of action all day.
Dates for your diary
Saturday 2nd July: For those who are keen to receive training in the new digital mixer, please put this date in your diary! Training will start at 2pm with pre-set mixer operation and basic digital mixer functions. Then, after a break, we’ll build on the basic training with the advanced features of the digital mixing desk. You are very welcome to attend just the first half. If you are unable to make this date but would like the training please contact Ben on benr@corshambaptists.org.
Newcomers lunch: we will be holding a newcomers lunch for all congregations on 17th July after the 11.15 service in the church hall. A light lunch will be served around 1pm and we aim to finish by 3pm. If you’ve started coming to CBC since March 2020, then you’re warmly invited! It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other better and for you to ask any questions you may have about church life here at CBC. There will be a mix of newcomers and longer-standing members of the church in various life stages – children are very welcome as this is an informal occasion. We’re delighted that you’re worshiping with us and would love you to join us. There is a sign up sheet on the table at the back of Church or you can email or call Ruth in the church office.
Mission evening at Melksham Baptist Church
Which continent do you think is the least evangelized in the world? Would it surprise you to know that the answer is Europe?! The European Mission Fellowship has been working in Europe since the 1930s and there is an opportunity to learn about the ministry and its vision at a special evening with Mission Director Andrew Birch on Wednesday 22nd June at 7.30pm at Melksham Baptist Church. All are welcome.
