Joint service on the green at Rudloe – 11am

We are excited about meeting together this Sunday on the green at Rudloe! The service will start at 11am, with open-air worship, prayer and the Word, and we will also mark the Platinum Jubilee. We hope that many in the neighbouring community will join us. Bring your folding chairs and picnics and stay for a game of rounders! Toilets will be provided and parking is available on the surrounding streets – please consider car-sharing to reduce the influx of cars into the area. The address is Rudloe Community Centre Playing field, Leylands Road, SN13 0NE. If you can help as a steward please contact John Prior (johnp@corshambaptists.org).

Gathered to Pray this Sunday

Rob D encouraged us all at the last church meeting to join our monthly prayer meetings. In view of the holiday weekend, our regular Gathered to Pray meeting will be incorporated into Sunday morning’s activities and be held as part of our picnic time at 2.30pm.

Midweek service – Wednesday 8th June

A warm welcome awaits you at our midweek service to be held next Wednesday at 2pm. Join us for a time of worship and the Word, and stay for refreshments afterwards.

Craft Group – Saturday 11th June

The craft group will be meeting at Priory Street from 10am-12.30pm. Please bring your own craft project to work on and why not invite your crafting friends to come too – all are welcome. Pam M would like to remind you that she is seeking a successor to take over leading this group – please contact her if you would like more details.

Commissioning service – Sunday 12th June

We will be joining together as one CBC congregation on 12th June at 11am at Priory Street to formally welcome Rob as our new Senior Pastor. Eddie Larkman will be bringing God’s Word and we look forward to celebrating God’s goodness in providing for us as a Church and to committing Rob to the Lord as he takes on this vital role. The service will be followed by tea and cake and if you are able to help by baking or serving on the day, please contact Liz Perks who is coordinating the practical arrangements for the day. Men’s Ministry – Tuesday 14th June

The Men’s Ministry Team invites you to join us at Priory Street on 14th June when Rob Durant will be delivering the final part of his series on cultural issues. This session will focus on Euthanasia. Tea, coffee and doughnuts will be available from 7:30pm. We hope to see you there.

Other Regular Activities

Prayer for Missions & the Persecuted Church: the first Tuesday of every month, 7.45pm on Zoom. Contact the office for login details.
Craft group: if you enjoy crafting come and join us on the first Saturday of the month (unless other notified) from 10am-12.30pm at Priory Street. Please bring your own craft project to do.
Community Money Advice is open for face-to-face meetings each Thursday evening and Friday morning. Do get in touch if you would like help and advice in this area. Pre-booked appointments only.
Souper Friday Café: Friday mornings from 9am. Come and and enjoy a free drink, cake and soup. Open for help with food items to take away too. Speak to Colin W, Esther A, Joan C or Jo S for more information.
Ark Children’s Service: last Saturday of the month 10:30am-12:00pm during term-time only.
Mum’s Bible Study: Monday mornings between 9.30am-11.30am (term-time only). For more information speak to Christine C or Vicki K.
Toddlers: Thursdays 10:00am-11:30am during term-time only.
Life groups meet in person and/or online. Contact us if you’d like to join one.
