Midweek service -Weds 25th Oct at 2pm

If you haven’t been to a midweek service before, it includes thought-provoking Bible teaching and a mixture of old hymns and newer songs. But we’re not just a meeting: we’re also a community and we enjoy chatting over refreshments afterwards. We’d love to welcome you on Wednesday.

ADVANCE NOTICE: CBC Family Church Photo

Next Sunday, at the close of our 200th anniversary celebration, all the children will be invited back into the sanctuary and we’ll take a whole church family photo to remember this special occasion, for years to come!! Everyone is invited to stay for the photo! It’s a lovely way to capture the CBC story and reflect on God’s faithfulness in building our church family.

However, we recognise that some people would prefer not to be photographed so, after the last song, Adam will close the service and then we’ll have a couple of moments for anyone not wishing to take part, to move into the hall. By remaining in the sanctuary, you give consent for the photo to be kept as part of our historical archives and it may be used on our CBC website and on our social media. If you have any questions, please speak to Hollie or Jasmine.

Gathered to Pray – for Open Doors – Sunday 12th Nov

Our monthly prayer service in November will focus on the ministry of Open Doors, which supports persecuted Christians around the world. Vanessa will guide our prayers, which will include prayer for those affected by the conflict in Gaza and Israel. Please mark this date in your diary so that you can join with us.

Save the date! Men’s Christmas Curry Night

It’s approaching that time of year for the Men’s Christmas Curry, and this year it will take place at CBC Priory Street on Thursday 23rd November at 7:30pm.  It will be a great time of fellowship together, and we will be launching a new series of Men’s Evenings that will commence monthly from January 2024. Please click here to register to attend, or scan the QR, or speak to Ian Holmes or Tom Bailey. We look forward to seeing you there!
