How to support Corsham Baptist Church

A guide to how you can support CBC sharing Jesus’ love in our community and further afield.

Why does the Bible say about giving?

The Bible tells us everything we have, including our money, is a gift from God. When Israel brings gifts for the building of the temple in Jerusalem, King David recognises that it is God’s generosity that has enabled them to give, saying:

…who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” 2 Chronicles 29:14, New International Version

Please consider joining with us in the gospel ministry of Corsham Baptist Church by giving. You can find details of how to give regularly or as a one-off gift below.

Gift Aid

If you can gift aid your donation, Corsham Baptist Church can claim back 25% of your donation from HM Revenue & Customs at no cost to you.

If you pay UK tax (Income or Capital Gains Tax) and would like us to claim back the basic rate tax, please complete this form, if you have not done so already. The benefit to Corsham Baptist Church is that we can recover the basic rate of income tax, currently 25p for each £1 given. (If you pay higher rate tax, you may recover this through your own tax return).  This makes a real difference to our income so we would ask that you consider gift aiding your donation if eligible.  More information about gift aid can be found on the gov.uk website.

For any questions about giving or your donations, please contact the church treasurer.
