Mission
At Corsham Baptist Church we believe in mission. We believe that we are called to engage with God both in the sharing of the good news with the lost and in the practical demonstration of God’s love. We do this in many ways, both personally and as a congregation. One way we do this is in supporting long-term and short term missionaries. Here you can find details of those we support and links to their latest updates.

The Oasis Centre
The Oasis Centre in Traiskerchen, Austria, is a ministry serving refugees from all over the world. The ministry is run by International Teams and for nearly twenty years CBC has supported it by sending short-term teams to work alongside the resident team. We have also sent lorries filled with aid for refugees and we regularly pray for this ministry. The centre is focussed on reflecting the heart of God to refugees, offering them the hope, life and refuge that only Jesus can provide.

Benjamin Francis
Benjamin Francis leads the BMS World Missions team in India, where he oversees BMS work in Kolkata and further afield. Benjamin’s work centres around delivering practical support for marginalised people across India and sharing the gospel with the least evangelised with disciple-making initiatives.
Additionally Benjamin oversees the work of Big Life Ministries in West Bengal with a vision to reach communities by planting churches in villages around the area. To facilitate this work Benjamin uses the BMS boat named Peace 3, to visit the islands around West Bengal.

AIM’s heart is to see Christ-centred churches among all African peoples and its particular priority is for the 1,000 people groups who are still unreached with the gospel. The missionary work of those who serve is diverse. From outreach workers and church planters, to medical professionals and support personnel; there are so many ways to be involved. AIM works in over 20 countries on the African continent and amongst the African diaspora here in the UK, Europe and further afield.
