Prayer walk at Neston – Saturday morning
Please join Matt G on a prayer walk for Neston tomorrow morning. We’ll set off from the Memorial Hall at 8.30am.
The Ark: tomorrow 25th May
All children are invited to this fun service from 10.30am-12pm, which will include Bible stories, games, crafts, singing and puppets! Keep an eye on the Ark Facebook page here for more info, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Men’s Ministry: Tuesday 28th May at 7.30pm
Please join us this coming Tuesday for our next men’s evening. Our guest speaker, Barry Funnell, will be sharing how God used a student prank gone badly wrong to radically change the course of his life, and how being wheelchair-bound doesn’t stop him from travelling the world with Bible translation ministry The Word For the World.
Men’s weekend away – booking now open!
This year’s Men’s Weekend Away will be at the YHA Llangattock Mountain Bunkhouse, Crickhowell. Set in the south-east of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the accommodation offers doorstep access to ancient woodlands, rare marshland, wildflower meadows, and of course caves, cliffs and excellent mountain walks. The dates are Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd September with an option to stay until Monday morning at no extra cost. The cost is £85 per person (concessions available as required) – the priority is to have you there so please come and have a chat if funding is an issue.
Teaching will be by Mark Fossey, Senior Pastor at Redeemer Church in Croydon. Mark has been involved in church ministry and church planting for over 20 years in central and suburban London. He is a fan of football, jazz and burgers, in no particular order. There will also be plenty of food (chef duties ably supplied by our brother Tim Hogg), walks out, coffee in the local village, worship, and nightly fellowship around the fire-pit.

Tech issues at Priory Street
Those of you who regularly join the stream on a Sunday morning for the Priory Street service will have noticed a few issues with it recently. Apologies for this – our tech experts are investigating and think it may be due to an ageing router. Please bear us as we endeavour to resolve the problem. You can find audio recordings of the sermons preached at Priory Street and Neston on our website for you to catch up with if you missed them.
Rudloe Community Centre – pledge form
Following the church meeting on 29th April and the need for further income to assess the viability of the Rudloe project, we are asking people to prayerfully consider increasing their giving or contributing time. The additional funds required equate to every member increasing their giving by £15-£20 per month. However, we recognise that for some this is not feasible, whilst others may be able to give more. If you are able to pledge additional monthly giving to the Church to help support the Rudloe project, or are able to contribute time, please complete the google form here (hard copies are available at church). Thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration. Note: this form is confidential and only seen by the treasurer.
Please pray for….
…Steve and Gill Bryant as they serve with WEC. Both have events on 28th May that need our prayers. Gill is leading a meeting for MK (missionary kid) advisors – pray for good attendance and interaction as they discuss aspects of their roles like preparing families to go onto the mission field. Steve will separately be leading safeguarding training that day and would appreciate prayer for that. Thank you!
