Next Sunday – pilot services at Neston and Priory Street
We’ll be holding ‘pilot’ services for the new works at Priory Street and Neston next Sunday, 12th November, which is also Remembrance Sunday. The service at Priory St will start at 10.30am and at Neston Memorial Hall at 10am. If you’re coming to Neston please only use the Hall car park if you are bringing equipment, or have accessibility needs. Other parking is available on the surrounding roads.
Mission Focus Together – Sunday 12th Nov
Mission is an important part of life at CBC and it’s our privilege to support a number of mission partners. On the second Sunday of each month our evening service will be dedicated to praying for mission. This month we focus on the ministry of Open Doors, which supports persecuted Christians around the world. Vanessa will guide our prayers, which will include prayer for those affected by the conflict in Gaza and Israel.
Supporting CBC Financially
As a reminder for those give using the yellow Gift Aid envelopes, if you require any more, please don’t hesitate to contact Ruth in the office or email treasurer@corshambaptists.org. Thank you to all those who support CBC financially or with their time. It all makes a real difference. Places are limited – book early here to ensure that you don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to add a personal touch to your Christmas decorations! For more information please speak to Katharine Mortimer.
Born in a Barn: advance notice
This Saturday tickets for ‘Born in a Barn’ (our farmyard nativity event on 9 December) go live! This is a fantastic way for us to share the true story of the birth of Jesus with our community. As in years past, we expect the event to ‘sell out’ fast! So, if you’re part of the CBC family, please get involved serving with the event crew and leave tickets for friends, neighbours and colleagues to nab! It takes a village to run this event; we need stewards, bakers, hot coco-makers and – I’m forgetting something… oh yes! – ACTORS! There’s no better way to see the event than to be in the event! If you’d like to join the event crew, speak to Hollie, John P or Adam.
Women’s Christmas Meal: Monday 11th Dec
Tis the season to be … Joyful!
In Jesus we have SO much to celebrate this Christmas, so come ready to sparkle and shine
as we turn up the joy levels to the max and celebrate together in true CBC women’s style! Join us on the 11th December at 7.30pm in church for a fabulous Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, including the legendary hot chocolates!
The cost is £12 and you can book here. …Come sparkly, come all!
