Baptism Services

Today we are having baptisms at both the 9:15am and 11:15am services.  We look forward to welcoming the friends and families of George Partridge, Mike Woodberry and Emily Robinson.

Midweek Service

This is taking place on Wednesday 21st February at 2pm.  Eric Seager will be leading and preaching and there will be communion.  The passage will be John 21.

The Ark

What a fabulous Ark we had in January – Praise God! It will be lovely to see you at the next one on Saturday 24th February so do come and tell/bring your friends. 10am at CBC for crafts, bible story, songs and puppets, all finished off with drink and cakes at 11.00am. Aimed at ages 0-7 years with an adult, but older children welcome. If anyone would like more fliers to take into school/ nursery/hand out/leave in local businesses, please take from the back or ask Heather Chilcott – she has plenty!

Women’s Bible Study

The next women’s bible study will take place on Monday 26th February at 7:30pm.  The study notes are on the table at the back.  Please take one in preparation of the meeting.  If you have any questions about these meetings, please speak to Anne or Kathy.

Men’s Curry Night with Renton Baker – Tuesday 13th March

Cost £7:50; time: 7:30 for 8pm; please contact Paul Kelly, Ian Holmes, Tim Mills or Tim Harding if you would like to attend or sign up at the back.

Women’s World Day of Prayer

This year it is our turn to host The Women’s World Day of Prayer at CBC on Friday 2nd March at 7.00pm.  We are looking for some volunteers to be readers in the service and to help with refreshments afterwards. Please speak with Anne Holmes if you are able to help.

Women’s Retreat 20th-22nd April, Lox Lane, Shaftesbury

There are still a few places left!  Please speak to Anne Holmes if you would like to go.

Prayer for Pewsham

Prayer for Pewsham (Chippenham), second Sunday evening of each month.  Please speak to Phil or Helen Osmond for details of where these meetings are held.

Missions and Persecuted Church Prayer

There will be a meeting for the above tomorrow night, Monday 19th February, at 7:45pm.  The country of the month is China and there are prayer requests on the Mission and Persecuted Church board.  Please contact Vanessa Naish or Wendy Rowe if you require more information.

Bake Sale Fundraiser

The Spruijts are holding a bake sale and afternoon tea on Saturday 24th February to raise much needed support for a missionary friend they met while in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Kosharah Dunham works for the Family Connection Foundation in Chiang Mai and has three adopted Thai daughters.  Drop in between 1.30-5pm for a cup of tea and slice of cake and find out more!  Spruijts’ details in the church directory.

Toddler Group – Leader and Helpers

We need more workers and a lead person for our Thursday morning Toddler Group.  Please step up to embrace this wonderful evangelistic opportunity in which to serve Christ. Talk to Kathy Larkman if you would like to know more about what this outreach entails.

Ministry Report Annual Booklet

If you are a ministry leader, please would you prepare your report for inclusion in the ministry booklet which is produced for the Annual Church Meeting.  Please include information on activity for the past year and prayer requests. Please send the report by 30th March to the church office.  Contact Louise in the office if you are unsure.  Thank you.

The Gathering Weekend

This exciting weekend is taking place on 7th and 8th July 2018.  Meetings on the Saturday will be at Priory Street and on the Sunday at the Springfield Campus. Tickets at £5 per person are available through your congregational leader.  Jenny Gaisford at the 9:15am service; John Godwin at the 11:15am service; Norman Fuggle at the midweek service and Adrian Pillinger at Church on the Green.
