As well as the usual Ark fun there will be tractor & trailer rides! This is also an opportunity for the wider church to join us for a picnic too – if you aren’t coming to the Ark please bring your picnic and chairs etc from 12pm for a time of fun and fellowship, maybe even some games. Extra help is needed with refreshments – if you can help serve or you can provide some baked goodies, please let Rhiannon know.

Gathered to Pray – Sunday evening

Please join us at our monthly prayer service at 6pm this coming Sunday, when we will be focusing on our plans for two new congregations, and prayer for our family, friends and neighbours who don’t yet know the Lord.

Church Barn Dance – Saturday 15th July

Grab your tickets for this event while they’re still available! We’re looking forward to an evening of fun and ceilidh dancing at Selwyn Hall, Box from 6pm-9pm. Tickets cost £5 per person and can be purchased in advance from the Ovens family. You’re asked to bring something for the bring-and-share buffet. Dig out your dancing shoes and let’s make this a fun night for the whole church!

Church meeting – Monday 17th July

Please note in your diaries that the next Church Meeting will be held on Monday 17th July at 8pm. If you regularly attend one of our congregations you are welcome to join us at that meeting. There are various items on the agenda, including the election of an Elder. Ian Holmes has been faithfully serving as an Elder for 2 terms, which come to an end at the Church Meeting. If you are a church member and would like to nominate someone, please complete a nomination form (available on the table at church). You will need to get your nominee’s permission and find someone to second your nomination. Please hand your form in to the church office by Sunday 9th July. Ian has confirmed that he is happy to stand again if nominated.

Pledge and Giving Reminder

Following our pledge day in January to balance our finances ahead of our associate pastor joining us in August, a number of pledges have yet to be actioned. If you pledged to increase your giving to support CBC’s work and haven’t yet done so, please consider this a final reminder to amend your giving. We recognise that, for some, circumstances will have changed and some pledges may no longer be feasible. If you do not currently give and would like to start, or didn’t pledge and would like to increase your giving, details on how to do this can be found on CBC’s website here: corshambaptists.org/giving.

Every little helps support the activities of the church and makes a real difference. If you have any queries, please feel free to contact Tom L, the CBC treasurer at treasurer@corshambaptists.org. Thank you.
