10am service at Neston

6pm Praise & Worship Together

Come along to Priory Street on Sunday evening for our monthly service of worship and testimony, led by Nancy Sawyer.

Prayer walk tomorrow morning (Sat 16th)

Please join us tomorrow morning for a prayer walk around Corsham led by Alan C. We’ll set off from Priory Street at 8.30am.

Men’s ministry evening – Tuesday 19th

Men, you are warmly invited along to Priory Street next Tuesday evening – we’ll kick off with refreshments at 7.30pm. Our guest speaker Steve Lancaster will be speaking on his experiences in Africa, struggles with anxiety and the importance of God’s Word in his life.

Bruce Brain

We send our love and condolences to Nancy Sawyer, whose father Bruce went to be with the Lord on Tuesday this week. Bruce was a stalwart of Ladyfield Evangelical Church and will be much missed. Please speak to Nancy for details of the funeral.

‘The Perfect Companion’ book launch – Sat 16th March

Just a reminder that this event will be taking place tomorrow evening at Priory Street! Join us at 7pm for refreshments, and then Jo Sheringham will introduce her new book, with readings and time for questions. Click here for a sneak preview!

The Ark – Saturday 23rd March

Please note the change of date for the next Ark. All children are invited to this fun service from 10.30am-12pm, which will include Bible stories, games, crafts, singing and puppets! Keep an eye on the Ark Facebook page here for more info, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Join us for a special CBC joint service as we celebrate Palm Sunday all together. The service will start at 10.30am and all the usual provisions will be in place! There will be friendly faces on the door to welcome you, sung worship, a time of prayer and teaching from the Bible. Also, there will be junior church for Reception, Y2-3 and Y4-6, as well as creche! If you are able to make a plate of cookies/biscuits to bring and share – all sweet treats will be gratefully received! After the service, stick around for a cuppa, a cookie and a chat!

Women’s Bible Study – Mon 25th March

Dear Sisters in Christ, please note the date in your diary for our next study in the book of 1 John, when Vicki will be sharing what God has laid on her heart. We will start at 7.30pm and refreshments will be available beforehand. Study buddy notes are available to collect from Priory Street or you can download them here.

Easter services

Midweek service Easter service: Wednesday 27th March at 2pm: all warmly welcome.

Good Friday – 29th March: all our congregations are invited to join us at 9.30am at Priory Street for a short service of reflection and sharing communion together.

Easter Sunday – 31st March: our two Sunday congregations will meet at the usual times in Neston and Priory Street to celebrate our risen Lord.

Walk of Witness – Good Friday

After our service finishes on Good Friday, we have the opportunity to join the annual Walk of Witness through the town centre. We will set off from the garden outside Co-op at 10.30am. Refreshments and hot cross buns will be served at St Aldhem’s afterwards.

Regular Activities

  • Junior Church: more volunteers are needed to enable this ministry to continue at our Sunday services. You don’t necessarily have to teach and it won’t be every Sunday. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. If you feel you can serve in this way, please complete the form here so that the necessary safeguarding checks can be done.
  • Our Community Money Advice service is available by appointment for anybody who is struggling with debt problems. Do get in touch if you would like help and advice in this area. Tel. 07895 716485.
  • Prayer for Missions & the Persecuted Church: the first Tuesday of every month, 7.45pm on Zoom. Contact the office for login details.
  • Women’s Bible Study: we meet on the last Monday every month from 7.30pm.
  • Souper Friday Café: Friday mornings from 10am-1pm. Come and enjoy a free drink, cake and soup. Open for help with food items to take away too. Speak to Colin, Carol G, Brenda or Paul G for more information.
  • Ark Children’s Service: last Saturday of the month 10:30am-12:00pm during term-time only.
  • Mum’s Bible Study: Monday mornings between 9.30am-11.30am (term-time only). For more information speak to Christine C or Vicki K.
  • Toddlers: Thursdays 10:00am-11:30am during term-time only.
  • FLAGS (Fun Learning About God and Scripture): this activity has been paused until Easter.
  • Hang out: this activity has been paused until Easter.
  • Life groups meet in person and/or online. Contact us if you’d like to join one.
  • Youth Groups – contact Dan for further details.
