Sunday Service: 10.30am at The Corsham School

Join us as we celebrate Palm Sunday all together. Adam will bring the Word from Matthew 21: 1-17. Music will be led by Adrian & Jo P with intercessory prayers led by Paul K. If you are able to make a plate of cookies/biscuits to bring and share, all sweet treats will be gratefully received! After the service, stay for a cuppa, a cookie and a chat! The service will be streamed online – click here to join.

Prayer walk tomorrow morning (Sat 23rd)

Please join us tomorrow morning for a prayer walk around Neston. We’ll set off from the Memorial Hall at 8.30am.

The Ark – tomorrow!

All children are invited to this fun service from 10.30am-12pm, which will include Bible stories, games, crafts, singing and puppets! Keep an eye on the Ark Facebook page here for more info, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Women’s Bible Study – Mon 25th March

Dear Sisters in Christ, join us on Monday evening for our next study in the book of 1 John, when Vicki will be sharing what God has laid on her heart. We’ll start at 7.30pm and refreshments will be available beforehand.

Easter services

Midweek Easter service: join us at Priory Street on Wednesday 27th March at 2pm: all are warmly welcome.

Good Friday – 29th March: all our congregations are invited to join us at 9.30am at Priory Street for a short service of reflection and sharing communion together.

Easter Sunday – 31st March: our two Sunday congregations will meet at the usual times in Neston and Priory Street to celebrate our risen Lord.

Walk of Witness – Good Friday

After our service finishes on Good Friday, we have the opportunity to join the annual Walk of Witness through the town centre. We will set off from the garden outside Co-op at 10.30am. Refreshments and hot cross buns will be served at St Aldhem’s afterwards.

Souper Friday Electronic Marketplace

At Souper Friday we often come across families who are struggling, not only with buying their everyday essentials but also with affording household furniture, furnishings and appliances. In response to the need, we are launching our Electronic Marketplace!

If you have any household items that you no longer need and would like to donate to a deserving family then please let us know and we will advertise them each Friday on our electronic notice board. All we ask is that you provide us with a photo of the item that we can upload onto the notice board. Due to a lack of storage space we are unable to hold any items at church. Please speak to Colin or Brenda for more information.

Of course, we don’t expect you only to dispose of the items through Souper Friday so quite understand if you find another home for it while we have it on our system. All we ask is you let us know and then we can remove it from the notice board.

Tech Q&A Drop-In Morning: Saturday 13th April 10am-12:30pm

We’re having a drop-in Q&A morning so if you are

  • A member of a tech rota with questions about how things work;
  • Thinking about joining a tech rota but want to know more first;
  • Would like to know some basic knowledge like how to switch on….
    Then please pop in on this day and we’ll be there to help and inform you.

Spring Clean – loft clear out!

On Saturday 6th April from 9am, the Facilitation Team is planning a clear and sort out of the loft above the “overflow hall”. There are a number of items that need organising or to be permanently removed! We would like to enlist some volunteers for an hour or two to move the various items out of the loft and help sort/organise/ditch. If you can help please let Hollie Gale or Jonny Street know. There are rumours that some breakfast-y treats may be available!

Also, if you think you have any items in the loft that you need (or don’t) it would be really helpful if you could come along that morning to help – or if not available please have a chat with Hollie or Jonny in advance. Many thanks.
