Prayer walk around Corsham – Sat 2nd Nov
Please join us on a prayer walk around Corsham tomorrow morning. We’ll set off from Priory Street at 8.30am.
Praying Together – Sun 3rd Nov 6pm
We have an opportunity to pray together as a whole church this coming Sunday evening. Please join us at Priory Street for a time of worship, communion and prayer. You can pick up the prayer leaflet from church to use throughout the month, or download a copy here.
International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church – Sun 3rd Nov
This Sunday is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Today, more than 360 million Christians around the world live in places where they face persecution. This includes harassment, detention, legal restrictions, violence and even death for their faith in Jesus. Please join us 7.30-8.30pm as we pray for those who share our faith but not our freedom. You can also register and add your name to the prayer list here.
Midweek Service – Wed 6th Nov
Join us for our Midweek Service this Wednesday as David brings us the word from Luke 18: 1 -14.
Join us after the service in the hall for teas, coffees, cakes and fellowship.
The Haven – Autism Support Group – starts Thurs 7th Nov
Do you have a neurodivergent child or grandchild? if so, please come and join our monthly autism/ADHD support group held at Priory Street for our local community.

A cashless church
A reminder that we are encouraging people to use the new card machine for offerings going forward. You will find the machine next to the offerings box at the back of Priory Street. Elders will be on hand at the back of the church should you need any help in using it.

Working with Children and Young People with Special/Additional Needs or Disabilities.
Rhiannon and Debbie Riall will be running a seminar at Priory Street using material from Urban Saints for parents, junior church leaders and helpers and anyone who cares for children and young people with special or additional needs. Women’s Bible Study – Mon 25th Nov 7.30 – 9pm

Bereavement ministry and support – Date TBC
As a Church we are planning to host a half day course on a Saturday morning run by Care for The Family called “The Bereavement Care Awareness Course”. The aim is to show us how best to support people we know who are suffering in grief. If you are interested in this half day course, please email your interest to bereavement@corshambaptists.org so that we can book a date and provide you with more information.
The Bereavement Journey Course – 5th Feb – 26th March
We will be offering another course from 5th Feb – 26th March, if you would like to sign up or receive more information please email bereavement@corshambaptists.org or visit the website to find out more. The course is for anyone who has suffered a significant loss, recently or in the past, and are finding their grief difficult to process. This is a seven week course consisting of small group discussions and videos developed by Christians. The course is open to anyone in our local community whether or not they attend CBC. Please speak to Adam, Gordon or Anne Hill for more information.
Volunteers Required!
Christianity Explored – Help needed
We are hoping to run another Christianity Explored course in January 2025. These will be Thursday evenings at Priory Street starting Thurs 16th January at 7:30pm. Over seven sessions, one per week, guests will read Mark’s Gospel to find out more about the life of Jesus Christ. The structure of each session is simple: a short Bible study, a talk and a discussion based on the talk. We need people to volunteer to cook a simple meal each week, volunteer helpers & table leaders. Full support & training will be provided. Please contact Adam if you can help adamj@corshambaptists.org

Volunteers are needed to enable this ministry to continue at our Sunday services. You don’t necessarily have to teach and it won’t be every Sunday. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Our Regular events
- Prayer for Missions & the Persecuted Church: the first Tuesday of every month, 8pm on Zoom. Contact the office for login details.
- FLAGS (Fun Learning About God and Scripture): Wednesdays at 4.30-5.30pm during term time. For Primary School-aged children.
- Women’s Bible Study: we meet once a month, usually on a Monday evening at 7.30pm, but the dates change so please check the notices for the current month! We’d love to have you join us!
- Souper Friday Café: Friday mornings from 10am-1pm. Come and enjoy a free drink, cake and soup. Open for help with food items to take away too. Speak to Colin, Carol G, Brenda or Paul G for more information.
- Ark Children’s Service: last Saturday of the month 10:30am-12:00pm during term-time only.
- Toddlers: Thursdays 10:00am-11:30am during term-time only.
- Life groups meet in person and/or online. Contact us if you’d like to join one.
