Prayer walk around Neston – Sat 30th Dec
Please join us for our final prayer walk of the year. We’ll be setting off from Neston Memorial Hall at 8.30am.
Upcoming service times
To avoid confusion we want to clarify the times of the services that will be held over the Christmas period:
Christmas Day service: 10am: we’ll have the opportunity to meet as a church family on Christmas Day itself. The service will be streamed but you are asked to contact the office for the YouTube link.
Sunday 31st Dec: joint service: 10.30am: we’ll join together as one congregation for our service on New Year’s Eve. Eddie L will be preaching and music will be led by Josh H. Intercessory prayers will be led by Paul K. The service will be streamed online – click here to join.
Sunday 7th January: we’ll meet at our usual times of 9.15 and 11.15 at Priory Street for the final time. Our new works in Neston and Corsham will launch on Sunday 14th January.
Christmas cards
If you have Christmas cards for folks who regularly attend CBC, you are kindly asked to distribute them personally. As a last resort, they may be put into the basket on the table at church – please don’t forget to collect any that may have been left for you. Cards for folks not attending CBC on a regular basis will not be forwarded.
A big ‘Thank you’ from the Souper Friday team
We would like to say a very big ‘thank you!’ to all the wider church, for the wonderful volunteers who came to help us last Saturday 16th December to celebrate our Christmas party. The vast majority of our guests were not church folks, and for them to witness the fantastic way our church comes together to celebrate our love for Jesus is one of the best ways to show them the faith we have in God. We wish you all a very Happy Christmas! Please note that the Café and Market stall will be closed over Christmas and New Year. We will open again on Friday 5th January at 10am.
Lost property
Anne H is planning to do a deep clean of the church in the New Year. This will include taking any unclaimed lost property to a charity shop. If you have items that you’ve left behind or misplaced, please check at church. Clothing items can be found hanging on the hooks in the side entrance. Please also check the kitchen for any dishes/tubs/water bottles you may have left there.
Church directory
The church directory is updated on an ad hoc basis and hard copies are available on request from the church office. Alternatively you can request a soft copy to be emailed to you.
