!!The Gathering Weekend – NEXT WEEKEND!!
Leaflets containing all the necessary information can be found on the table at the back………please sign up if you haven’t already done so. We are also looking for people to serve in a variety of capacities…sign up sheets at the back. In particular, we are looking for more volunteers to help with the children’s work over the two days. Speak to Rhiannon if you have any questions regarding the children’s programme. Please read the green insert to familiarise yourself with the weekend’s programme.
Pledge for 16 Arnolds Mead
As you will know, we are planning some improvements to better support youth work with more room to share and eat. We realise that if you were unable to attend the Church Meeting, you may not have heard much detail so don’t hesitate to ask Tim or Roger about any questions or concerns you might have. There will be an extension of the pledge period until Sunday 7th July. There are pledge forms at the back or go online www.corshambaptists.org/pledge.
Midweek Service
This will take place on Wednesday 26th June at 2pm. The text is Matthew 20.1-16 and Eric will be leading and preaching. The service is followed by refreshments at approx. 3pm.
Women’s Breakfast
There will be a breakfast for the women of our church on Saturday 13th July @ CBC from 9.30am – 11.00. There is a sign up sheet at the back to note your interest and your option/dietary preferences. Please speak to Anne Holmes if you have any questions!
Uganda mission trip fundraiser concert
Friday 12th July, 7pm at Priory Street. This will be a concert given by Corsham Windband (some of our young church members will be involved). More information will be given in due course but in the meantime, put the date in your diary, pray and, as there will be refreshments served during the interval, please speak to Rhiannon if you are able to bake some savoury or sweet goodies. Help will be required on the night so watch this space for how you can help out.
Youth Day for years 7 and 8
Come and join Dan and Rhiannon for some fun times on Saturday July 13th 2pm – 7pm. This will be an opportunity to get to know Dan and Rhiannon, some of the current youth and others of the same age from different congregations. We will be having lots of fun with some challenges, games, teaching and food!! This will be held at church so meet us in the church Hut at 2pm. Speak to Dan or Rhiannon if you want more information and please R.S.V.P. to Dan or Rhiannon (details in the church directory) by June 28th so that we can cater for the right number of people.
