*** Farmyard Nativity! ***
Nativity service – Born in a Barn (literally!). This year’s nativity service will be held on Saturday 15th December and it will be a LIVE nativity at John and Nathalie’s farm in Castle Combe!! There will be showings at 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm and free tickets can be obtained from eventbrite
Please remember that EVERYONE attending the nativity needs a ticket (including children) so that we can have an accurate number attending for safety reasons.
There will also be a work party to help get the venue ready as well as a rehearsal at the farm on Saturday 1st December from 10am-12.20. If you weren’t able to be at the meeting on Tuesday but can be involved in any way with the nativity please speak to Rhiannon.
Carols by Candlelight Service – 16th December
Once again this year it would be great to get a band together for the carol service, to give the occasion a certain something extra! So if you play an acoustic instrument and would like to be part of the band, David M would love to hear from you. If you have not been part of this before, please let David know what you play, and to roughly what standard, together with your contact details if you’re not already in the church directory. Many thanks. David

Meal Train – the CBC food rota
Our meal rota – which is a vital support for those newly out of hospital, those being treated with chronic conditions and families with new babies – is in need of volunteers! The meals can be offered as little as once a month and just requires you to email or sign up on facebook messenger to be part of the CBC food rota. You do not need to be Michelin Star to become a part of this awesome ministry! Anything you cook for your family is more than good enough for our members! Please contact Sarah Blaikley for more details. Thank you!
Church Directory 2019
Please take the time to complete the information for the new church directory if you are new to this fellowship or if any of your personal details have changed. There is also a section to complete if you would like specific information on any aspect of church life. You may complete here online or the paper copy which can be left in the white box on the table at the back. (Blank forms at the back). Remember…please write clearly!!
Keep up with the Littles
The Littles are serving on Africa Mercy (Mercy Ships) and you can follow their adventures by reading their blog at https://alittleodyssey.blogspot.com (It also contains useful information if you would like to send them anything!).
Corsham Foodbank – Feeding Back to You
Once again we would like to thank you for your generous and consistent support of the Foodbank project, and also for the bumper offering made at the Harvest Festival last month. God remains faithful in blessing this ministry both through the churches and the community, and continues to enable us to meet the need. The Christmas Hamper project will be run again this year, and we expect to be blessing in excess of 50 households. If you would like to support this project by donating edible seasonal treats with a post-Christmas best before date, please leave them in or by the collection bin in the porch at Priory Street by Sunday 2nd December. Items which would enable us to bless children would be particularly welcome.
Opportunities for Regular Giving
If you would like to give to the work of the church on a regular basis, you might wish to consider setting up a standing order through your bank. Alternatively, some people find it helpful to use our weekly or monthly envelope giving schemes for their offering. And of course, if you are a UK tax payer, then the value of your gift can be increased by 25%, at no extra cost to yourself, if you complete a Gift Aid Declaration.
If you would like to enrol in the envelope giving scheme for 2019, or would like to set up a standing order or make a Gift Aid Declaration, do please speak to one of the Treasury Team: Paul G (Church on the Green, Rudloe) Roger (Priory Street 11.15 Service); or Michael (Priory Street 9.15 Service).
