Joint service at Priory Street at 11am

We will be joining together as one CBC congregation to formally welcome Rob Durant as our new Senior Pastor. Gary Woodall will be preaching on Joshua 3:1-4:24 and worship will be led by Paul and Victoria Kelly. We look forward to celebrating God’s goodness in providing for us as a Church and to committing Rob to the Lord as he takes on this vital role. Communion will be included within the service and the elements will be served from the front. If you are uncomfortable with this, individual communion packs will be available for you. Refreshments will be served after the service. The service will be streamed online – click here to join.

Craft Group – Saturday 11th June

The craft group will be meeting at Priory Street from 10am-12.30pm. Please bring your own craft project to work on and why not invite your crafting friends to come too – all are welcome.

Hang Out – Sunday 12th at 4pm

Mums and Dads – there’s an opportunity for your KS2 aged children (7-11 yrs) to come and ‘hang out’ with their friends at Priory Street from 4pm-5.30pm. Rhiannon and Beth M will be organising games, fun and snacks and will also host a Bible Q&A – if your kids have questions about God, the Bible and what it all means, here is a perfect opportunity for them to ask those questions. Please speak to Rhiannon or Beth for more details.

Discipleship Explored – Sunday 12th at 6pm

All are welcome to join us at Priory Street for our next session of the course and this week we will be looking at what it means to be righteous in Christ. Do make the most of this opportunity to study God’s Word and learn together, even if you haven’t been to the previous sessions.

Men’s Ministry – Tuesday 14th June

The Men’s Ministry Team invites you to join us at Priory Street on 14th June when Rob Durant will be delivering the final part of his series on cultural issues. This session will focus on Euthanasia. Tea, coffee and doughnuts will be available from 7:30pm.  We hope to see you there.

The Ark on the Farm – Saturday 25th June from 10.30am

Heather and the team invite you to Ark on the Farm, a service for children with lots of fun activities including puppets, a Bible story, crafts, songs, games, sheep and maybe even tractor rides! Please bring your own picnic and we will provide tea and cakes! Invite your friends and family too. Please book your tickets via Eventbrite here and we’ll see you at Upper Combe Farm, SN14 7HE!
