Church Meeting – Monday 23rd January at 8pm
All who regularly join one of our congregations are welcome to attend our Church Meeting, even if you aren’t a member. Some of the items to be considered at the meeting are the work that’s required on The Tynings, new Ministry leaders, and an update on the Vision of the church. We encourage all to attend who can. The agenda and supporting documents can be downloaded here or hard copies can be collected from Priory Street on Sunday. For those genuinely unable to attend, the meeting will be streamed online. Please apply via email to the church office for the link, with a note of why you are unable to attend.
Urgently needed for Souper Friday
The Souper Friday team needs a car seat to use in the church minibus when transporting parents and children. The type that’s required is one with a back for older children that can be held in place by a seat belt, not the ISOFIX type. If you have one that you no longer need please let Colin or any of the SF team know. Thank you.
Hall Refurbishment Update – Plastering and New Flooring
We’re thankful to our men who have been carrying out preparation in the church hall ready for redecoration. Part of this preparation is for various bits of plastering to be done in the hall which is now scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday, 23rd & 24th January. If you usually use the church building on these days, please be aware of this and avoid passing through the hall. Access via the back door is preferred.
Additionally, we’re giving you advance notice that contractors will be laying new flooring commencing Monday 27th March and expected to take 4 days, although any delay or overrun could extend this. Any ministries/activities taking place in the church during that week will be disrupted due to the works taking place in the main hall, middle hall and the 3 side rooms, and will need to consider the practicalities of how they operate for that week. If anyone has any questions please speak to Jonny Street or John Godwin.
The Ark – Saturday 28th January
We would love to see you at The Ark on the 28th, a fun and interactive service for primary school-aged children, which will be held at Priory Street from 10.30am-12pm. Join us for songs, crafts, Bible stories and puppets! Your free place can be booked via Eventbrite here and you can keep up-to-date via the Facebook page here.

Refreshments will be available from 7.30pm and we will start at 8pm. If you’re unable to join us in person, here are the Zoom details:
