Kenya team Gift Day – 23rd October
A team from CBC will be heading to Kenya on 25th November to run the children’s programme at AIM’s Eastern Region conference. This will enable missionaries who serve in Kenya and Tanzania to attend the conference knowing their children are in good hands and being equally blessed with good teaching and time to relax and have fun. We have the opportunity to bless the team by assisting them with the costs of the trip. This Sunday is designated as a Gift Day at Priory Street (30th Oct at COTG) and Rhiannon will be sharing briefly about the trip. If you wish to support the team, you can give in the following ways:
- Bank transfer to CBC’s account:
Account Name: Corsham Baptist Church
Account Number: 03123488
Sort Code: 09-01-54
Important – Use Reference: KENYA22
- Cash or cheques (made out to Corsham Baptist Church) should be enclosed in one of the brown envelopes marked “Gift for Kenya trip” that you can pick up from the table at church, and placed in the offering box. Alternatively, if you can gift aid your donation, please use one of the yellow envelopes on the table and mark it “Kenya22”.

Drivers needed! – Youth weekend away
We have a youth weekend away coming up and are in need of some drivers:
Friday 11th November – 3.45pm to take young people from Corsham to Woodcroft Christian Centre (near Chepstow).
Sunday 13th November – 3pm to bring young people from Woodcroft to Corsham.
If you can help with either of these journeys please speak to Dan. Thanks. 07838 626419 / dano@corshambaptists.org
Creche room
A gentle plea to those who use the creche room – please be careful in using the toys and equipment and please do highlight to the office if anything gets broken. When you’ve finished using the room please leave it neat and tidy ready for the next group, and remember to bring the sandpit in (it was left out in the rain recently). The Toddler team has had a clear out of the creche room recently and it would help them to know if other users have had to dispose of any toys and equipment – please let Heather C know. Thank you.
Women’s Christmas Meal – save the date!
Please keep Monday 5th December free in your diaries for our Christmas meal when we look forward to an evening of feasting, fun and fellowship! Watch this space for the Eventbrite booking link to follow shortly.
Thank you
Audrey Brown would like to pass on her thanks to the church for the lovely birthday card full of signatures. It was much appreciated.
