Discipleship Explored – Sunday 8th April

Join us at 6pm on Sunday evening at Priory Street for the second of our Discipleship Explored sessions. Even if you missed the first session, it’s not too late to join! We had some really helpful teaching and discussions around our confidence in Christ. This week we will be focusing on what it means to live in Christ, diving into Paul’s teaching in Philippians.

Craft Group – Saturday 7th

If you enjoy crafting you’re invited to join us on Saturday morning, 10am-12.30pm in the coffee hall at Priory Street (please bring your own craft project to do). Pam Mitchell will be stepping aside from leading the group and we are looking for a new person to take over this role. If you feel that could be you, Pam would love to hear from you and talk you through all the details.

Men’s Ministry – Tuesday 10th

The next Men’s Ministry evening will focus on the issue of gender identity, lead by Rob Durant. Join us at Priory Street from 7.30pm for refreshments, including a portion of chips! We hope to see you there.

Tech training and rewiring

Ben R would like to let you know that the PA system at Priory Street will be out of action on 13th/14th May as he undertakes the rewiring work. Oak Hall Bible teaching events

Steve Lancaster and Eddie Larkman will be teaching at Oak Hall’s ‘WORD’ weekends over the summer at its base in Kent. These will be opportunities to dive in and explore the depths of the Word, one book at a time, to let these significant texts shape and equip us for modern life. The dates are: 10-12 June: 1 Peter with Steve, and 16-18 Sept: John with Eddie. For more information and to book please visit Oak Hall’s website. Additionally, Steve will be the Bible teacher on Oak Hall’s Alpine Bible week in Austria from 29 July – 5 August, a fantastic opportunity for God to speak to us through His Word and to explore His wonderful creation amidst the mountains. Regular Activities

• Community Money Advice is open for face-to-face meetings each Thursday evening and Friday morning. Do get in touch if you would like help and advice in this area. Pre-booked appointments only.
• Craft Group: if you enjoy crafting come and join us on the first Saturday of the month (unless other notified) from 10am-12.30pm at Priory Street. Please bring your own craft project to do.
• Souper Friday Café: Friday mornings from 9am. Come and and enjoy a free drink, cake and soup. Open for help with food items to take away too. Speak to Colin W, Esther A, Joan C or Jo S for more information.
• Ark Children’s Service: last Saturday of the month 10:30am-12:00pm during term-time only.
• Mum’s Bible Study: Monday mornings between 9.30am-11.30am (term-time only). For more information speak to Christine C or Vicki K.
• Toddlers: Thursdays 10:00am-11:30am during term-time only.
• Life groups meet in person and/or online. Contact us if you’d like to join one.
• Youth Groups – contact Dan for further details.
