We look forward to praising God for the life of baby Jake A when he is dedicated at the Priory Street service on Sunday morning.
We would normally share communion together this Sunday but it has been moved back to next week.
Our Sunday morning services at Priory Street are live-streamed and recorded on our YouTube channel. If you would prefer not to appear on screen, please sit in or under the balcony.
Prayer walk tomorrow morning around Neston (Sat 9th)
Please join us tomorrow morning for a prayer walk around Neston. We’ll set off from the Memorial Hall at 8.30am and hope you can join us.
Mission Update
The latest update on our mission partners is available to pick up from church. This month we’re giving you more information about the mission agencies we support and how you can pray for them.
Souper Friday – 15th Dec
Please note that the café will be closed on Friday 15th due to setting up for the Christmas Party the following day. However, the Marketplace will be open from 9am-10am that day. The Café will reopen on Friday 5th January.
Thank you
Mitch Hankin and the family would like to express their thanks to everyone who played a part in the service on Tuesday and for all the love and support they’ve been shown by friends at CBC.
Carol services
The church is decorated, the choir is rehearsing, the invitations are ready to go out – all it needs is you! Come along next Sunday evening at 6pm for our special service retelling the nativity story and singing God’s praises through carols old and new. And no doubt there’ll be a mince pie or two to enjoy afterwards! Why not invite a neighbour or friend to come with you? Any offerings given at the carol service will be sent to support the ministry of Bible Society.
The annual Corsham churches open-air Carol Service will be held on Tuesday 19th December. We’ll meet at the Christmas tree outside Haine & Smith in the high street at 6.45pm. Dress up warmly and bring a lantern or torch.
The Midweek Service carol service will be held on Wednesday 20th Dec at 2pm and all are invited to come along.
Christmas Day service
We’ll have the opportunity to meet as a church family at 10am on Christmas Day itself. Many of us are used to encouraging our children to bring a gift to show the congregation. This year, rather than concentrate on the gifts we’ve received individually, we’ll be opening a gift together! Please help us by letting your children know about this change. Thank you.
CBC Ladies Retreat 26-28 April 2024 – reserve your space!
Registration is open for our 2024 retreat! Our theme is ‘Tender Heart’ and Hollie will take us on a deep-dive adventure into 2 Chronicles – looking at how our cold hearts are melted when we bring them to the fire of Christ’s love!
After such a special time at Windmill Farm this year, we’re headed back there and expect to have another fantastic weekend of fellowship, worship, prayer and teaching. Arrive from 4pm on Friday 26th and we’ll head home after lunch on Sunday 28th. The total cost for the weekend (full board including cooked breakfast/lunch/dinner, unlimited tea/coffee and endless cake) is £165 per person for a shared room or £235 for a single room. A non-refundable £40 deposit is due by 2nd January. To register online, click here to complete the booking form. For a printable version, download one by clicking this link.
